Computer-controlled Test Frames

For the ultimate in testing reproducibility, Mecmesin offer a range of sophisticated systems featuring complete computer control of the key test parameters.
Emperor, Mecmesin’s powerful yet user-friendly control software, provides both a simple platform for routine analyses on the factory floor, as well as an advanced platform for sophisticated laboratory test routines. Programmable functions include running a test to a pre-determined force/torque, displacement, time or to break, as well as graphical interrogation of results.
Computer-controlled Test Frames available include the MultiTest-i range of compressive/tensile testing systems and the Vortex-i torque testing system.


MultiTest 1-i
The MultiTest 1-i is Mecmesin’s entry-level computer-controlled force testing system. Capable of testing in tension and compression for loads up to 1000N (220lbf), the system uses Emperor software to give full programming and analysis capability over to the operator.
Operators can choose to use one of the existing programs from the test library included within Emperor or develop their own tests in line with their own parameters and test application requirements.
Used in conjunction with Mecmesin’s intelligent loadcells ranging from 2N up to 1000N, the system offers incredible accuracy, recording 2000 readings per second. These loadcells are easily interchangeable as they are automatically recognised and configured by the test system.
The use of Emperor means customers have access to a number of advanced analysis options. Not only will they have a full visual display of the test on their PC screen, they will be able to customise graphs to their requirements, perform multiple calculations, re-display the test in real time, as well as, export, print and archive the data.

MultiTest 2.5-i
The MultiTest 2.5-i is a 2500N (550lbf) capacity fully computer-controlled single-column test frame for compressive or tensile testing. It provides, in combination with suitable gripping fixtures, a powerful and flexible solution to your compression / tension testing application.

MultiTest 5-i

MultiTest 10-i
The MultiTest 10-i is a twin-column materials testing machine controlled by Mecmesin`s powerful yet flexible Emperor software. It has been carefully optimised for developing tensile and compressive test procedures involving the application of loads up to 10kN (2200lbf)

Vortex-i (torque system)
The Vortex-i is a twin-column torsion testing system controlled by a special torque version of the Emperor software. It is suitable for developing torque testing procedures and analyses involving the application of torsional load to a wide range of manufactured products and components.
When required a fixed compressive load can be applied concurrently with the application of torque.
